Imparar mappando: the technique of videomapping
Imparar Mappando is a fun workshop to learn about and learn the basic technique of videomapping and its many applications in the digital world in constant evolution. Particularly suitable for children aged between 8 and 16 years. It 'consists of 3 days of six hours each, with the possibility of organizing a presentation of the results to the public at the end of the third day.
The ideal group ranges from 9 to 15 participants; any prior technical expertise is not required.
To organize it is sufficient to have a darkened room and an outlet; to think about the rest of us
The first day is dedicated to presentations, to the explanation of the basic principles of videomapping and practical presentation of the main existing software. To encourage the development of a creative project, we will be analyzed along with the works of artists who use the videomapping technique.
During the second day the participants, divided into three groups, will learn how to set up the space with all the necessary equipment and will build its own installation using the techniques learned during the first day. Participants will work in groups using a computer, a video projector, a projection surface and materials for the construction of mixed-media interventions. Each group will be invited to create an intervention by applying the knowledge acquired during the first day. The goal of each group will be to provide a combined videomapping installation with two technical choices by the participants of the group.
The third day is dedicated to the finishing touches of the work, under the supervision of our experts. The three installations will be tested in the plenary and then presented to the public at the end of the day.
